So-Called “Hindu” Nirvani Teasley – A Mormon Agent? Noahide Connections?

Nirvani Banned From Hindu Forum

Nirvani Teasley Booted
Nirvani Teasley is a bit of a starlet in the Hindu spiritual and political scene, mainly because she is a White western and supposedly “Ex-Mormon” convert to the Eternal Religion.  Her Journey to Hinduism from Mormonism was popularized by the online zine “Hindu Human Rights”, you can read her article for the outfit (here). She also writes for blogs such as “Women’s Spiritual Poety” (see here). However, there is a growing suspicion about Nirvani and her true agenda as she is now engaging in “caste baiting”. What are her connections to Mormon “Americanism” and Noahidism?

Question The Ethics Of Hiroshima and Nagasaki?
Nirvani Says “So-Called Brahmin Fundamentalist”!

Ms. Teasley has recently been removed from the popular Hindu forum “ॐ The eternal way to Spirituality ॐ” after she accused an admin of being a “so-called Brahmin blowhard fundamentalist” and being “no different than Christian and Muslim Fundamentalists”. Why? Because the admins for the group dared to questioned the ethics of the United States dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

You do not need to be a Hindu to understand that while Japan bombed a military target (Pearl Harbor), the United Stated nuked two cities filled with civilians, murdering more than 40,000 non-combatants and sentencing generations to birth defects as well as leaving devastation on the environment. Because of this perfectly logical concern about the karmic effects of burning civilians alive and poisoning the lives of the yet unborn, Nirvani accused the admin of having “absolute hatred for the West”. She also personified the USA as a “she” and said “she is MY country and you are just jealous” (of holocausting innocents) .

Worst still she brought the admin’s “Brahmanism” into the debate and called the admin a “fundamentalist”. What kind of so-called Hindu would try to smear someone for being a “Brahmin” and call them a Hindu Fundamentalist because they question irradiating women and children? What Hindu do you know that would stoop so low as to bring “caste politics” and accusations of fundamentalism into a debate about whether or not there will be karmic effects for dropping atomic weapons on civilians? Not any Hindu I know!

“she Is MY country and you are just jealous”
Mormons Believe The USA Is The New ZION!!!

In her online caste baiting tirade, Nirvani states (talking about the USA): “she is MY country and you are just jealous”.  Just jealous of what any world citizen might wonder? While Hindus can likely understand that Westerners will have some degree of patriotism to their nations, Nirvani’s comments that a “so-called Brahmin fundamentalist” is “jealous” of “HER” America because it bombed civilians seems a bit extreme and jingoistic. She also condemns Japanese fighter pilots because they were willing to commit suicide, she states: “they were more concerned  about vanquishing their enemies than caring for the well-being of their own people”. Nirvani is just being disingenuous here – can she really equate single suicide attacks on military targets to the mass murder of a civilian population? However Nirvani’s bloodlust to see non-American civilians burn makes sense when we look at her supposedly “Ex-Mormon” background.  Unlike most Christians, Mormons believe that that there are two Zions (the Abrahamic god’s worldly center), one in Israel and one in America. Mormons believe that the law of god will come not only from Israel (common Christian theology) but also from the United States (a belief peculiar to Mormonism).

In the restoration, Joseph Smith taught his people that they can, and must, become people of Zion. That vision inspires the labors and programs of the Church to this day. In establishing Zion, Latter-day Saints believe they may be a light to humankind (D&C 115:4-6) and usher in the millennial reign of Christ (Moses 7:60-65; D&C 43:29-30). During the Millennium, Zion will have two great centers-Jerusalem of old and a New Jerusalem in America-from which “the law” and the “word of the Lord” will go forth to the world (Isa. 2:3;Ether 13:2-11). – Zion, The Encyclopedia of Mormonism

&

10th Article of the Mormon Faith: We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory. – Articles of Faith, Mormon.org

Perhaps the fact that Nirvani comes from a background that believes that the United States is the New Jerusalem fuels her belief that nuking civilians in non-American lands is acceptable and anyone who questions these war crimes is a “so-called Brahmin fundamentalist” who is “jealous of HER country”. Maybe Nirvani is still under some spell of the Mormon Church, maybe she still believes America is the new Zion… or maybe she has a more sinister agenda?

Nirvani Is Married To A Mormon Converted To Jew
She Says Noahidism Is A “Conspiracy”

The following information relates to an online conversation I had with Nirvani before I blocked her (download conversation here: Nirvani Teasley). Nirvani had put up a post about Hamas attacking Israel with rockets.  Since both Nirvani and the writer of this blog are both x-Christians, I questioned her about the creation of Hamas, how Israel (backed by America) had actually created Hamas by hunting down the more secular PLO and establishing a more Islamist regime. They did this for no other reason than to create a situation where bloodshed would be necessary [See “How Israel Helped Created Hamas, Washington Post“]. As an x-Christian, Nirvani would be more enlightened to the fact that Christians have an agenda to promote war in the Middle East to create the conditions for the apocalypse which will usher in the second reign of Christ [See: Millions of Evangelical Christians Want to Start World War III … to Speed Up the Second Coming]. A naive support of Israel against Islamic forces is understandable, but this is not where the conversation ended.

Noahidism A Conspiracy –
“Do You Think Mormons Have Some Evil Agenda?”

Two Noahide Converts – VISAKHAPATNAM, INDIA – http://noahideworldcenter.org/wp_en/testimony-of-bethel-noahide-society-visakhapatnam-india/

The conversation about the above post eventually turned toward the issue of Noahidism. For those who are not familiar with Noahidism, it is a religion which was created separately by Jews for non-Jews so that non-Jews could convert into the fold of Israel. The basic idea of Noahidism is to convert the entire world into a form of monotheism which is acceptable to Jews. While Jews were not able to promote the religion of Noahidism to the non-Jews of the world for the past few hundred years, with their attainment of Israel the “chosen people” have since begun an aggressive campaign to covert people of all walks of life (including Hindus) to this Abrahamic faith of Noahidism (Judaism for non-Jews). Again, this Noahide conversion program is controlled and administered by Jews. For those interested in learning more about Noahidism in India and in general, please see: www.noahidelaw.org and “Noahidism in India“. In the below conversation we can see that Nirvani dismisses Noahidism as a conspiracy. Noahidism is not a conspiracy, these conversions are actually taking place as witnessed in the videos below. Further, Nirvani would know better than most that Noahide conversions are not a conspiracy since her husband studied to convert to Judaism! Nirvani just wants to hide Noahide conversions for some reason. What would her reason be for trying to confuse Hindus and tell them that Noahide conversions are not real? Further still, Nirvani implies that it would be just as “ludicrous” to believe her precious Mormon Church has an “evil agenda”… does that sound like an x-Mormon to you?

(SEE ONLINE CONVERSATION WITH NIRVANI: Nirvani Teasley)

Vincent Bruno: Nirvani, please, tell me your opinion on Noahide Law?

Nirvani Teasley: I was Christian most of my life…Mormons believe they are the one true church on the earth, do you think they have some evil agenda…this is ludicrous

Nirvani Teasley My husband will tell you all about it, since he was going through conversion (to Judaism) a while back…

Vincent Bruno: Noahide Law is not a conspiracy, still Nirvani cannot answer the question, why is this?

Nirvani Teasley: My own opinion, because I don’t have one on it. I could care less about your conspiracy theory mumbo jumbo

A Noahide Congregation In India

A Noahide Convert In India

Mormons And Jews – Which Is Nirvani’s Husband?

It should be noted that Nirvani’s husband (also an “Ex-Mormon) is in the United States military and is currently studying to convert to Judaism (or has already converted). This should raise red flags since there is currently a movement among Mormons to convert to Judaism while retaining their Mormon status, a development which has set alarm even for some Jewish people.

In recent months I have corresponded with members of the LDS Church on two continents who are planning to convert to Judaism while remaining active Latter-day Saints (one has already begun the process). They in turn have told me of others who have completed the conversion process while remaining LDS. – Can believing Mormons become Jews?, Jewish Journal

It is suspicious that Nirvani not only endorses nuking non-American civilians, is a fanatical Zionist, and says Noahide conversions are a conspiracy, but she is also married to a supposed Ex-Mormon who has converted to Judaism… or is he one of these new Mormon-Jew hybrids? If Nirvani’s husband is now a Jew, he would of course support Noahide conversions as these conversions are standard Jewish doctrine.  Is this why Nirvani is pretending Noahidism is a conspiracy?  Does she want to make things easier for her Jewish husband to help convert Hindus to the new monotheist religion of Noahidism?  Nirvani would certainly make a good information agent to her Jewish husband, helping him learn the psychology of Hindus so that he could easily lead them into the new one-true-god Abrahamic cult being run from Israel.

Mormons Are Fanatical Zionists

Seeing that Nirvani has an extremist patriotism for America, it should also not be a surprise to anyone that she is as well an extremist Zionist who could care less that Israel-American designed Hamas to increase war and bloodshed. Her desire to see war in the Middle East comes from her same desire to see Japanese children fried, its due to her supposedly “Ex-Mormon” background.  Mormons are unique in that unlike most other Christians, Mormons believe that they are indeed descended from Israel, they believe that they are ethnically “Israelites:

For Latter-day Saints, identification of a person’s lineage in latter-day Covenant Israel is made under the hands of inspired Patriarchs through patriarchal blessings that declare lineage. Elder John A. Widtsoe, an Apostle, declared, “In giving a blessing the patriarch may declare our lineage-that is, that we are of Israel, therefore of the family of Abraham, and of a specific tribe of Jacob. In the great majority of cases, Latter-day Saints are of the tribe of Ephraim, the tribe to which has been committed the leadership of the Latter-day work. Whether this lineage is of blood or adoption it does not matter” (p. 73; cf. Abr. 2:10). The patriarchal blessings of most Latter-day Saints indicate that they are literal, blood descendants of Abraham and of Israel. Those who are not literal descendants are adopted into the family of Abraham when they receive baptism and confirmation. – Ephraim, The Encyclopedia of Mormonism

Further still, it is a political obligation for Mormons to be Zionists.  This is because they believe in the “dual Zion” theory.  Besides the Unites States, Israel is the only other Nation on earth which was officially supported by the Mormon Church. So this supposedly X-Mormon is a Zionist, and she enjoys watching her precious American-Israel dual Zion union purposely creating terror organization like Hamas so that then her beautiful Mormon Zion combine can then retaliate with arms so as to bring about the apocalypse…  sounds like she is towing the the line of the Mormon Church.

The Mormon Church has supported the Jewish people and Israel for all of its 184 years.  In fact, Israel is the only country in the world whose creation was officially supported by the LDS Church. In its earliest days, the Church called on Jews to gather to Palestine and form a state. The first edition of the first Church newspaper announced that it “comes to bring good tidings of great joy to all people, but more especially to the House of Israel scattered abroad, for the Lord hath set His hand again the second time to restore them to the lands of their inheritance.” In response to an article entitled “What Do Mormons Believe?” written by a newspaper editor, an 1834 article in a Church newspaper stated: “We believe that God has set His hand to recover the remnant of His people, Israel; and that the time is near when He will bring them from the four winds and reinstate them upon their own lands which He gave their fathers by covenant.” – Why Mormons Can’t Be Anti-Zionists, Jewish Journal

Conclusion

Nirvani Teasley is no longer welcome in certain Hindu forums because she calls admins “so-called Brahmin fundamentalists” when they question the ethicacy of atom bombing civilian centers and causing untold misery to future generations.  She condemns Japanese fighter pilots for dying to destroy military targets, but in her estimate the USA is allowed to burn 40,000 non-combatants alive. Suspiciously acting like a Mormon, she behaves like America is the next Zion and says that we are all just jealous of her nation because it drops atom bombs on civilian populations.  She is a fanatical Zionist (in line with Mormon teachings), calls Noahide conversion a conspiracy theory and is married to a so-called X-Mormon who is now a Jew (the lines between Mormonism and Judaism seem very blurred these day).  So who is Nirvani Teasley and why are so many Hindus finding it harder and harder to trust her?

Catholic & ISKONite behind Christian-Hindu-Yezidi inculturation scam

Picture13

“Inculturation” is a term used by Christians (primarily Catholics) to describe the process by which Church teachings can be slowly introduced into non-Christian cultures.  The Catholic Church is notorious for using “inculturation” as an inroad into non-Christian culture. Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s day… these are all ancient pagan holidays which were eventually given Christian meaning through the process of inculturation. Well the process of inculturation has not ended and the Catholics are up to their old tricks, but this time they are targeting the Yezidis and Hindus.  Mark Pinkham is a Catholic Templar who is heavily invested in using the Yezidis and their peacock angel Melek Taus as an inculturation agent in India. He has written books relating Christ to Melek Taus and Melek Taus to the Hindu god Murgan.  It is his specific aim to meld the three religions together into a form of “Hidzianity” whereby Melek Taus and Murgan become one and the same, but both are eventually revealed as Jesus. In his crusade, he is receiving help from the ISKONite Brannon Parker… this makes sense since ISKON has a similar inculturation agenda of spreading Jesus and Bible veneration.

Mark Pinkham is an Esoteric Catholic Templar

The Knights Templar are a well known esoteric arm of the Catholic Church, and Mark Pinkham counts himself among their members. Inculturation is a term used in Christianity, especially in the Roman Catholic Church, referring to the adaptation of the way Church teachings are presented to non-Christian cultures, and to the influence of those cultures on the evolution of these teachings.  In keeping with the Vatican’s eternal agenda of inculturation, Mark Pinkham founded an organization called the “International Order of the Gnostic Templars” who’s agenda it is to inculturate goddess worship and and other paths with Catholic teachings. His recent book “Guardians of the Holy Grail: The Knights Templar, John the Baptist and the Water of Life” attempts to place the Garden of Eden and the lineage of the “Holy Grail” prophets such as Jesus and John the Baptist inside the Indian island of Sri Lanka. You will come to see that Mark Pinkham is obsessed with bringing Christ to India, in some way, shape or form, including his “Hidziantity” religion.

The International Order of Gnostic Templars (IOGT) is a diverse group of men and women who are committed to assisting in the revival the Gnostic path
of knowing one’s Self fully by experiencing our own Inner Wisdom, as well as the revival of the Goddess Tradition (The Path of the Divine Feminine) of the Original Templars.

We also seek to complete the mission of the original Knights Templar
by working to show the common links between the spiritual traditions of the East and West.

We are dedicated to living in accordance with the ideal of the spiritual warrior,
one who is able to effectively, and without fear, meet any and all challenges that life places in his/her path.

Guard-Grail-final_medGuardians of the Holy Grail: The Knights Templar, John the Baptist, and the Water of Life presents a unique history of the Knights Templar and the legendary Holy Grail that has never before been published. For nearly one thousand years the Knights Templar have rightly been regarded the eternal guardians of the Holy Grail, but what the Holy Grail actually is has never been accurately revealed – until now. Guardians of the Holy Grail proves that the Holy Grail existed many thousands of years before Christ, and that it is as old as the Garden of Eden itself.

During their one hundred years in the Middle East, the Templars received the Holy Grail from a lineage of Holy Grail Guardians that had existed for many thousands of years previously. This ancient Grail lineage, which included John the Baptist, Jesus Christ, and Mary Magdalene and John the Apostle, had originated on Sri Lanka, the island paradise recognized within the Arab world as the true location of the fabled Garden of Eden.

Topics in this book include: The Ancient Lineage of the Holy Grail Masters; The Garden of Eden, origin of the Holy Grail Mysteries; John the Baptist and the Mandeans from Sri Lanka; The Mystery of Baphomet, the Templar “demon”; The Gnostic & Tantric rites of the Knights Templar; Alchemy & the Mystery of the Black Madonna; Rosslyn Chapel and the Sinclairs of Scotland; The Secrets of the Freemasons and Johannites; The Knights Templar Today

Mark Pinkham becomes interested in connecting Yezidis, Hindus and Christ

Being a Catholic Templar and a man adept at “inculturation”, finding novel ways to invade non-Christian cultures with Catholic teachings, Mr. Pinkham eventually became extremely interested in the Yezidi.  In his book “THE TRUTH BEHIND THE CHRIST MYTH: THE REDEMPTION OF THE PEACOCK ANGEL“, Mr. Pinkham thoroughly explores the connections between the Yezidi peacock angle Melek Taus and the Christian Jesus Christ.  He also uses the peacock form of the Yezidi angle Melek Taus as a bridge to the Hindu god Murgan, who rides a peacock. You will see his Yezidi-Hindu peacock angel hybrid is the pavement used for Mark Pinkham’s inroad of Catholic Christ cultism into India.

Mark Pinkham creates “Hidzianity”

On September 24th, 2014, Mark Pinkham was interviewed by the popular online tabloid, Covert Wires.  After doing the research for his book “THE TRUTH BEHIND THE CHRIST MYTH: THE REDEMPTION OF THE PEACOCK ANGEL“, Mark Pinkham had the intellectual ammunition he needed to meld the Yezidi religion, Hinduism and Christianity all together into one new mess of “Hidzianity”.  According to Mark Pinkham’s new theology, The Yezidi’s Melek Taus, the Hindu Murgan, and the Christian Satan/Christ are all one and the same! And so the Catholic agenda of inculturation is revealed.

CW: Final question for today. Some people, in particular the Muslims and Christians are trying to show the Yezidis as Abrahamic and that Tawsi Malik is not Sanat Kumara but the Biblical “Lucifer” the Satan. What’s your opinion regarding this?

Mr. Pinkham: Lucifer is a fabrication of the Christians. However, his legend is similar to the legend of Tawsi Melek. The both fell from pride. But they also both brought the teachings of enlightenment to Earth. The Christians and Moslems claim that Lucifer is the same as Satan. He is not. Satan is God’s power of Destruction and Christ is God’s power of Creation. They sit on either side of Sanat Kumara, who is YHVH, the Ancient of DaysLucifer-Tawsi Melek- Murugan – they are the first form of the invisible God. They are Satan and Christ united together – just as all humans are. In fact, when they came to Earth they became the Planetary Logos (mind and will) and the Collective Consciousness of Humanity. All humans are living out the evolutionary program that they brought to Earth. Many believe that Murugan or Kartikeya – “Son of the Pleiades,” brought this program from the Pleiades. This is the “Luciferian” program of a fall into matter, development of “Satanic” ego and individuality, and then finally union with the inner Christ. The world has to understand that the peacock angel is the manifestation of “Sanat” and not at all “Satan”.

Mark Pinkham accused of being a religious fraudster

Readers may want to note that Mark Pinkham and his Sedona compound have been reported to “RipOff Report” for propagating a “Knights Templar Cult” which promotes wild conspiracy theories and may even engage in extremely “deviant” conduct as part of cult ritual.  Mark Pinkham does deny these allegations however.

AUTHOR: Mark -() SUBMITTED: Monday, March 25, 2013

This report about Mark Amaru Pinkham was filed by a disgruntled woman who was not able to recoup the money she spent to register for a seminar in Sedona on 12.21.2012 that was organized by Mark because she cancelled her participation during the period when refunds were not allowed. The refund policy of the seminar was no different than those adopted by most seminars. The allegations this woman makes are complete nonsense. She does not know Mark Amaru Pinkham personally, nor does she know anything about the rites and the lineage of the Knight Templar organization he is currently the head of in Sedona, Arizona. Apparently the so-called sex practices she refers to are ones that the Knight Templar were alleged to have indulged in 700 years ago, although that was never proven. The International Order of Gnostic Templars led by Mark Amaru Pinkham is a well respected organization that observes practices that were inherited by the early Templars in the Holy Land and passed down to them directly from John the Baptist and John the Apostle. There are no sexual practices or rites observed whatsoever in the organization.

Mark Pinkham’s ISKONite Lackey
Vrndavan Brannon Parker

1934286_13437463639_1269_n[1]

Brannon Parker, well known ISKONite in USA

Brannon Parker’s affiliation with ISKON is well known in the United State, he was once associated with many Hindus here, however, his constant begging for air and hotel fairs to travel to Hindu conferences gave him a negative image as a beggar.  He disappeared from the American Hindu scene and eventually reappeared in India. It is not surprising to his former beneficiaries that Brannon Parker has ended up pushing “Hidzianity” in tandem with Mark Pinkham.

Brannon Parker found “Yezidi Sanatan Dharma Society”

Brannon Parker is the founder the the Yezidi Sanatan Dharma Society, an organization with the mission to acculturate both the Yezidi and the Hindus, negating their unique identities and grouping them together.  The Yezidi Sanatan Dhamra Society references’s Mark Pinkham’s “Yezidi Truth” website on their facebook page and they are just as driven to equate the Yezidi Melek Taus with Hindu Murgan. Yes, the two organizations work together. While Mark Pinkham fuses Melek Taus and Murgan from the Christian side, Brannon Parker fuses Malek Taus and Murgan from the Hindu side.  But the agenda is the same, link all three religions into “Hidzianity” which can be used as in inculturation agent by Catholics.

There is a prophecy, which the Yezidis believe, that says all Aryan tribes will be united in spiritual harmony as one people. No other time in history, but in the past 1,500 years have we seen this happen. The ongoing genocide of the Yezidis and the support of the Hindu Indians for the Yezidis, bring one of the last of the Aryans from Iraq, spiritually and culturally into the Hindu fold. These are our cultural allies. Here in a region plagued by religious exclusivity and religious homogeneity has survived an ancient people steeped in in the worship of Tawusê Melek, the Peacock King. These are a people who feel closer bonds to India than with the majority cultures surrounding them in the Middle East…

ISKON also promotes Jesus

It should be no surprise that it is an ISKONite who is helping Mark Pinkham to achieve his Murgan = Melek Taus / “Hidzianity” goal.  ISKON’s dogmatic attachment to Krishna and the Gita, and their condemnation of all other paths in Hinduism is well known.  While such a sectarian position is not unique in Hinduism, and does not necessarily remove one from the Hindu fold, ISKON is unique in that, while they do condemn all other Hindu paths (they usually state they are not Hindus), they very heavily promote Jesus Christ and the Bible as an acceptable means to reach god.   How is it that following a Hindu path not aligned with ISKON is considered immoral, yet being an adherent of Jesus and the Bible is encouraged? Even the founder of ISKON, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, admitted to being a follower of Jesus and promoted Bible reading, yet he condemned all other branches of Hinduism. ISKON is nothing but another pro-Christ invasion into Hinduism.

ISKON FOUNDER CALLED HINDUISM “USELESS, DRIED-UP

Often Srila Prabhupada would simply deny the existence of a religion called “Hinduism.” He attributed the improper designation to “foreign invaders.” At other times he acknowledged the existence of the faith, but considered it a hopelessly degraded form of the original Sanatana Dharma of the Vedas. In his April, 1967, New York lectures he remarked, “Although posing as great scholars, ascetics, householders and swamis, the so-called followers of the Hindu religion are all useless, dried-up branches of the Vedic religion.” ISKCON, he believed, was the only true exponent of the Vedic faith today. In an interview given for Bhavan’s Journal on June 28, 1976, he said, “India, they have given up the real religious system, Sanatana Dharma. Fictitiously, they have accepted a hodgepodge thing which is called Hinduism. Therefore there is trouble.” – Can it Be That the Hare Krishnas Are Not Hindu?, Hinduism Today

ISKON founders admits to being a follower of Christ

“Following Jesus Christ”

Tamala Krsna: Well, he quotes, “And then shall appear the sign of the son of man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of earth mourn and they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” In other words… “And shall he send…” There is so many statements in the Bible to allude that Christ will come again.

Prabhupada: What is the harm if he comes again?

Tamala Krsna: Practically that is the whole basis of the Christians’ faith is they are awaiting the day when Christ will come.

Prabhupada: For the time being, you follow what he has said. Rather, what is the use of waiting for him?

Belief in Vaishnavism and Christianity not contradictory

Jesus, the Vaishnavas, and the Spirit of Understanding

You know, I have never returned my Sunday School membership card or renounced Christianity. I still have my baptism certificate which, I understand, is still valid until you hand it back to the vicar asking to be ‘unbaptised.’ So that must mean I am still a Christian musn’t it? Just one with a slightly peculiar understanding of Jesus.

Jesus Christ is very important for me, and I would like to think that I understand him slightly better now – and appreciate his sacrifice more – than I ever did before.

You see, you don’t have to not believe in Jesus in order to be a Vaishnava; and you don’t have to wish ill towards Christians or anyone else.

Conclusion

Inculturation has been a tactic used by Catholics and Christians for centuries, it uses subtle cultural techniques to introduce Christ slowly into the host culture using its own legends and iconography.  Mark Pinkham and his “International Order of Gnostic Templars” are nothing but a neo-inculturation Catholic agenda.  They not only want to move the “Garden of Eden” and the line of Christ to Sri Lanka, they also want to connect Murgan, Melek Taus and Christ into one super inculturation cult of “Hidzianity”… but the object is always the same, make an inroad for Christianity. In his endeavor, Mark Pinkham and his Templar friends are being aided by the ISKONite Brannon Parker, this match is obviously “made in heaven” since ISKON has a similar motive of pushing pro-Jesus and pro-Bible attitudes unto Hindus in the guise of “Krishna Bhakit”.  This conspiracy of course goes deeper than what has been presented here, Hindus must be vigilant against such inculturation scams.

The ISKON Jesus File

krishna-christ[1]

ISKON’s dogmatic attachment to Krishan and the Gita, and their condemnation of all other paths in Hinduism is well known. There is much to be said about ISKON and its agenda, but we have started a link list where you can begin to learn about ISKON’s pro-Christ invasion into Hinduism.

Srila Prabhupada: When you read the Bible, you follow the Spiritual Master. How can you say without? As soon as you read the Bible, that means you are following the instruction of Lord Jesus Christ. That means that you are following the Spiritual Master.

Tamal Krishna: I was referring to a living Spiritual Master.

Hindutva must support Yezidi Nationalism

Esidski_Flag[1]

Hindus want a Hindu State, in India and beyond, a Religious Nationalism based in Vedic principles.  But to accomplish this, we need the idea of “Religious Nationalism” (necessarily non-Abrahamic) to become recognizable and popular on the world stage.  India and Nepal have a long and complex history which is currently making the creation of a Vedic state a slow and arduous process, but not one we should ever give up on.  However there is another “friendly” Religious Nationalism that is building in the world, one that could serve as a “practice run” for Hindus.  But remarkably, Hindus are some of the worse perpetrators in diluting the dreams of a Yezidi Nation.

When the Islamic State rose in Iraq, and the Yezdi fled to the top of Mt. Sinjar, who were the first people to help and offer aid to the Yezidi in their time of need?  Was it mainstream Hindutva organizations, was it common Hindu people, or was is a gang of self-serving charlatans who care nothing for Hindu Nationalism, Hinduism, Yezidi Nationalism or the Serfedin Religion?  Unfortunately, Hindus allowed the later to take the reigns of the situation and steer both parties, Hindu and Yezidi, toward religious and national destruction.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and his Art of Living Foundation are not a Hindu organization, but by their very own admission believe in using “interfaith” to solve the world’s problems, this includes of course “interfaithing” with Muslims and other nefarious groups, despite the fact that such “interfaith” is inherently deleterious to the Hindu and Yezidi causes at large. Art of Living teaches that all traditions teach “human values”, a statement that both Hindus and Yezidis know is false and dangerously misleading. Art of Living never affiliates itself with pure “Hinduism”, nor does it aid in any nationalistic endeavors, it is a garden variety NGO of the United Nations, an organization set up to confuse the truth and destroy cultures of justice by mixing them with that of the sewer. Sri Sri and his cult were some of the first people on the scene at Mt. Sinjar, and Sri Sri has since become a St. among the Yezidi people.

artofliving_logo[1]

2[1]

From Asia to America, the world seeks a remedy for terrorism; it is the need of the hour. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar offers a powerful solution in a simple form: multi-cultural education… The key to inter-faith harmony and to reducing terrorism, according to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, lies in education – a multi-cultural education that encourages pluralism. “Right education is that which creates a reverence for diversity in nature and a sense of belonging with the whole world,” says Sri Sri. Opening up a child’s mind to respecting other religions, bringing up a child in a world that encourages human values like a sense of oneness with others, trust and compassion is the sustainable solution. When children understand that human values exist in all the great traditions; when children glimpse the humanity of believers of other faiths; and when children know that truth is expressed outside their own religion, then narrow-mindedness, the root of terrorism, will not survive…

…Tackling the issue of terrorism and promoting inter-faith harmony, Sri Sri has taken his message of a multi-cultural education to concerned forums across the world – be it the 29th National Meeting of the Jamiat-Ulema-i-Hind (the largest Islamic Imam Association of India) or the 3rd World Congress of Rabbis and Imams for Peace in Europe. He has taken his message to members of every stratum of society – religious leaders, decision-makers, academicians, bearers of social responsibility and the common man. – http://www.artofliving.org/interfaith-harmony

Similarly, we have the duo of Vrndavan Brannon Parker Acbsp (former ISKONITE) and Mark Amaru Pinkham a Templar (arm of the Catholic Church).  Brannon Parker is the founder the the Yezidi Sanatan Dharma Society, an organization with the mission to acculturate both the Yezidi and the Hindus, negating our unique identities and grouping us together.  The Yezidi Sanatan Dhamra Society references’s Mark Pinkham’s “Yezidi Truth” website on their facebook page.  We have reported on Mark Pinkham and is “Peacock Christ Cult” which he is seeking to push on India by equating the Yezidi Melek Taus (who has Abrahamic undertones) with the Hindu god Murgan.  The Yezidi Sanatan Dharma Society also promotes this Melek Taus/Murgan hybrid agenda, though they do not seem to openly promote the Christ link as much as Mr. Pinkham.

See article on Mark Pinkham here: http://www.hindugeopolitics.net/the-yazidi-deception-the-templar-mark-pinkham-part-1/

It was Brannon Parker and Mark Pinkham who ran to the aid of the Yezidis, not mainstream Hindu organizations, and now we are paying the price.

Picture1

And so what has been the price of allowing non-Hindu, non-nationalist forces to invade the space of helping the Yezidi?  Rather than promoting a national homeland for the Yezidi, these groups focused in trying to convert them to their heretical sects, using them to import their bastardized Christ cults and “interfaith” into India. This has been disastrous for both the Yezidi and for Hindus.  The Yezidi fled to Mt. Sinjar and not to Kurdistan because Kurdistan, while seemingly secular, is 70% Sunni Muslim and is racked with Islamist separatists who have no love for the Yezidi accept to convert or eliminate them.  When Art of Living and the antics of Mark Pinkham and the Yezidi Sanatan Dharma Society arrived on Mt. Sinjar, they certainly handed out food and water to the beleaguered Yezidi (something the Hindus should have been doing), but they also preached a message of cultural and national destruction. Non of these groups are interested in promoting a Yezidi homeland, a land, which if properly armed and supplied, could act as a counterbalance to the Islamists of the regions, a land of people we can trust, unlike the majority Muslim Kurdistan.

Because these anti-Nationalist forces of acculturation thought nothing of truly supporting the Yezidi, only using them for their own purposes, they did not arm the Yezidi nor steadily promote the cause for the Yezidi nation.  Because of their purposefully weakening approach, the Yezidi were eventually lost to Kurdish Peshmerga forces and have been absorbed into Islamic Kurdistan where they have no hope of being offered their own homeland.  So now because of Hindu ineptitude, we have temporarily lost a potential non-Muslim ally nation in the region which could have been a base of operations to defeat the powers of Islam. Instead we have sentenced the Yezidi to new hardships, fighting Islamization under the pseudo-secular/Islamist and unstable Kurdistan regime.

So what can we as Hindutvas do to help the Yezidi and ourselves?  We need to step up to the plate and start Helping pro-Yezidi organizations, organization which are for Yezidi culture and Yezidi nationalism, not for organizations which are seeking to distract the Yezidi from their nationalist dream or confuse their culture with destructive “interfaith”.  If Hindus want their own Hindu Nation, it would be a good idea to support a pure Yezidi nation, it will show the world such an endeavor can work and is not something to fear. The Yezidi nation could be an Island of military aid for Hindus in the midst of a sea of enemies, an island of people we can trust, something that cannot be said for Kurdistan.  Also, by allowing the Yezidi to define themselves in their own terms, rather than pushing an interfaith agenda on them, we can learn to do the same.

Those who wish to support such an organization can go to www.ezdistan.org

“Plan S3″ – Hindus must support the Secular Sindh State

10590410_635742779865821_7417544610829476712_n[1]

Sunday, February 1st, 2015 – Pak Hindu leader Raj Kumar leads a protest on behalf of the Secular Sindh Forum and Civil Society Karachi outside the Karachi Press Club, their banner reads “Say No To State Religion”. The demonstration was against the recent suicide bomb attack on the Shiite Mosque, Imam Bargah Shikarpur, in which 62 people were killed and 100 injured.  It is suspected the attacker came from the predominant Sunni Muslim community.  In Pakistan, not only are Hindus under constant threat from the Sunni Muslim regime in Islamabad, but so are Shiite Muslims, Alawi Muslims and non-theists.

Sindh Secular Forum Page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Secular-Sindh-Forum/278656112341945

10420383_324894117718144_1586538729786619563_n[1]

When Hindus hear the word “secular”, they tend to get very negative connotations.  In India and elsewhere “secular” is usually a code word for “marxist” or at least weak and pathetic “democracy” which appeases violent or powerful religious groups while subtly persecuting religious groups who are less politically savvy.  In recent years, Hindus have coined the term “pseudo-secular” to describe the phenomenon of “seculars” who are openly critical of Hinduism, yet who coddle and apologize for Islamist.

This website is not in the business of promoting “secularism” in general, we of course are in favor of Vedic government.  However, we need to take into account that in Pakistan, Hindus make up less than 2% of the population and so the idea of promoting a Hindu government there is not reasonable or practical.  However, it is Hindu leaders like Raj Kumar who have been able to form alliances with other oppressed groups against the Islamist regime. This alliance in based on “STRONG SECULARISM”, real secularism built on the foundation of opposing Islamism.

The non-Hindu minorities of Sindh province in Pakistan have been fighting for a separate nation for decades, these minorities come from several ethnic, religious and non-religious backgrounds.  Due to the extremely harsh political conditions in which they live, they have decided unanimously to drop their differences in favor of creating a truly secular state of Sindh which will give them all a safe haven from Islamist Pakistan. To help the Hindus of Pakistan and Sindh, and to create a buffer state against Islamist aggression, Hindus should support the Sindh Secularist Sepratist movement… “Plan S3″.

The Yezidi Conspiracy Thickens – Yezidi delegation lands in India, ex-Iskonites praise late Saudi King Abdullah

10501876_809325405785923_6819591696723689563_n[1]

And so the Yezidi plot thickens… a new delegation of Yezidi (some from the United States) have landed in India, right into the hands of ex-ISKONITE Brandon Parker. Brandon Parker is one of the founders of the “Yezidi Sanatan Dhamra Society”, the goal of which is to “unite the two related” civilizations of the Yezidi and Hindus.  It would seem that those who wish to destroy both Hindu and Yezidi civilization under the guise of “interfaith” have not been discouraged by the recent outflow of evidence that the entire plan to label the Yezidis as Hindus is nothing more than a disingenuous plot to deflect both Hindus and Yezidis away from their own national causes and at the same time confuse their very identities.

Brandon Parker runs with the like of Mark Pinkham, a Templar (Catholic) who is also desperately trying to pervert and subvert both Hinduism and the Yezidi to create a new “Peacock Christ Cult” in India (see here), along with the cult leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and his Art of Living (see here) who has no interest in maintaining the integrity of any religion but melding them all together into a New Age pot of nothingness.  Neither Parker and his Yezidi Sanatan Dharma Soceity, nor Mark Pinkham and his “Christ Cult” nor Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and his Art of Living have any interest in promoting a free and independent Ezdistan Nation or unique Yezidi religious culture.  All three outfits are only interested in distracting the Yezidi from their own religious ideals and pushing them unto Hindus at the Hindus’ expense… creating nothing but mistrust between the two groups and facilitating the religious, cultural and national genocide of both. Why haven’t any of these groups promoted Ezdistan, a Yezidi nation, why are they all so gungho to push the Yezidi into India an confuse their identity?

Well Brandon Parker has really shown himself to have no scruples when it comes to his academic integrity and political allegiances.  In the below article published by World Hindu News, Mr. Parker shameless promotes the misconception that the Yezidi are from India, when their own legends state they are from Northern Iraq.  And right under his announcement that he had received the Yezidi delegation in India, he goes on to praise the recently departed Saudi King Abdullah as being a “respected soul” who “opposed Wahabbi Islam”. Um, Saudi King Abdullah ruled over an Islamic state where non-Muslims were killed for blasphemy, hardly a religious reformer or “respected soul”.  Who is this Brandon Parker and why are Hindus allowing him to control Yezidi-Hindu relations?

Hindus need to stand up and help the Yezidis build their own nation of Ezdistan, not allow ex-ISKONITES and Templars to use us to fund their “interfaith” games.

- Brandon Parker is a founder of the “Yezidi Sanatan Dharma Society” and is interested in “uniting the two related and ancient civilizations” of Hinduisn and the Yezidi religion.

Vrndavan Brannon Parker attended Vedic Gurukula schools from the age of 4 to 14 years. He studied in the USA, Canada and in Vrindavan, India. His main focus has been on highlighting the similarities between the ancient cultures and civilisations around the world and defining their Vedic roots and he has been researching and publicly presenting Vedic Historical and Cross-cultural connections since 1996. Brannon dedicates his time to working with organizations that promote Vedic Dharma.
Both   Nallein and Mr. Parker started the Yezidi Sanatana Dharma Society ( YSDS ) to unite two related and ancient civilizations, the Indians and the Yezidis. They can be reached at   Nallein Satana Al-Jilwah Sowilo - lotussuns@gmail.com  Vrndavan Brannon Parker Acbsp - brannonparker.vi@gmail.com -

- Parker lies and states that the Yezidis are originally from India (they are originally from Iraq per their own legends)

The Yezidis are an Aryan people originally from Airyna Vaeja the mystical Homeland of Aryans which is in present day India.  The word Aryan is not related to race but refers to ‘The righteous’. The Yezidi calendar is 6764 yrs old and is the oldest in the Middle East. About 5000 years ago Yezidis migrated to Afganistan, Iran, Iraq and Middle East. At that time they were called Children of Melek Taus. Melek is an ancient Semite God of Babel and Caanite. Another spelling in Semite of Melek is Malik. Melek or Malik can be found in Sanskrit word Malaiklavon. Malaiklavon is another name for Murugan/Skanda, a God found in South India. - http://worldhindunews.com/2014100933404/%E2%80%8Byezidi-sanatan-dharma-society-yezidis-and-non-resident-indians-join-hands-for-the-yezidi-cause/

- Brandon Parker is excited to host the new delegation of Yezidis in India

- Brandon Parker praises dead Saudi ruler as being a “respected soul” and “leader of the opposition” against Wahabbi Islam

Picture2

- King Abdullah oversaw a nation where non-Muslims were sentenced to death

While King Abdullah championed interfaith dialogue on the world stage, in his own country, no religion other than Islam can be practiced in public. For example, The Guardian notes an estimated 1 million Roman Catholics live in Saudi Arabia -- most of them foreign workers -- but there's not a single church. Blasphemy and conversion from Islam are punishable by death.

Adherents of Islam’s Shia denomination also face discrimination under the Sunni regime. The Shia minority complains of systematic exclusion from government, jobs and education. Shiites who called for equal rights in the 2011 street protests wererounded up and jailed.

Hindus Must Correct Their Yezidi Blunder, Yezidi Ask For Help From Kurdistan

hr-blunder-of-the-week

It has been less than a week since the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces “liberated” the Yezidi from the areas of Zammar and Mount Sinjar.  Yes, now the Yezidi are “safe”, or so we think.  Now that the Yezidi are at least free from the extreme persecution of ISIS, it is time for us to regroup and look back on this whole series of events and realize what a fiasco it has been for Hindu geopolitical strategy and public relations. However, we also have a golden opportunity to correct our mistakes, the Yezidi need our help now more than ever to prevent their slow and subtle destruction within Kurdistan.

Help Yezidiska Raise Funds For Relief Work

The Yezidi people are currently being hunted and enslaved by the Islamic State in Iraq.  You can help Yezidiska raise funds to feed, cloth and house refugees by purchasing their book of Holy Scriptures. https://www.createspace.com/5129993

Ezdistan-_Yezidi_Hol_Cover_for_Kindle

While it is certain that the Yezidi are better off with the Kurdistan forces, Hindus should think why the Yezidi did not go to Kurdistan in the first place.  Why did the Yezidi go up into an isolated mountain region rather than run toward the supposedly “secular” zone of Kurdistan?  In an earlier post (here) we detailed the plight of the Yezid under Kurdish forces.  Kurdistan is a majority Muslim region.  While the Kurdistan government touts “secularism”, according to our Yezidi sources, its politicians have a history of sympathy for Islamic causes and a desire to Islamize the remaining Kurdish population. The issue with Kurdistan is that while the Kurds are ethnocentric and want to keep all supposedly “Kurdish” peoples within their domain, they also have an erratic policy of Islamizing non-Muslim “Kurds” or at least trying to destroy their non-Muslim identity.

HG informants inside Yezidi organizations have relayed to us that Mirza Ismail, leading figure of “Yezidi Human Rights Organization-International” and an American Yezidi, played an influential role in preventing Washington from arming the Kurdish Peshmerga Forces against ISIS.  Why would a Yezidi not want the Kurds to be able to fight ISIS when the Yezidi were trapped and being systematically annihilated by the group?  According to our sources Mr. Ismail did not trust the Kurdish forces to give the Yezid justice and feared that many of these arms would be added to ISIS stock piles by Kurds who sympathize with Islam, or would be used to Islamize the Yezidi once they were brought into Kurdistan. Indeed, as soon as the Yezidi were taken off Mt. Sinjar, Mizra Ismail began sending in reports of Kurdish treason, Peshmerga forces aiding ISIS rather than fighting them. (SEE IMAGE BELOW).

hyfhf

hgf

So now the Yezidi are in Kurdistan and what is happening?  According to our Yezidi contacts the Yezidis have fallen into a tumultuous political soup.  It would seem that during the rescue there was internal fire on the Kurdish Peshmerga that was not coming from ISIS.  While it is certainly possible (and likely) that this fire came from pro-Islam/pro-ISIS elements within the Kurdish forces itself, some within Kurdistan took this opportunity to make tawdry accusation of treason against the Yezidi.  Some (likely Islamophile Kurds) began trying to stir up communal violence between the Peshmerga and the Yezidi. Rather than see the Yezidi and Kurdistan forces semi-unite, as of yet mysterious forces have begun to sew discontent between the groups, hoping to destabilize Kurdistan at the Yezidi’s expense.

However, things are worse than this.  According to our internal sources, the Kurdistan Forces have already begun a heavy campaign of “Kurdistanization” of the Yezidi, trying to culturally and socially absorb them into the Islamized Kurdish fold rather than allowing the Yezidi to nourish their own nation of Ezdistan.  While the Yezidi have escaped actual genocide, they now face cultural genocide within Kurdistan.  Prior to the liberation of Mt. Sinjar, Kurdistan Forces began to infiltrate Yezidi organization and began an extended campaign of cultural annihilation and hijacking, trying to absorb the Yezidi into the general “Kurdistan” culture and make the fight for Kurdistan and the Yezidi one and the same.  This has led to infighting and fragmentation of the mission to help the Yezidi (SEE IMAGE).

yez

But now we must look at the Hindu campaign to help the Yezidi and why it was such a failure.  First, why on earth did we allow semi-Hindu groups like Art of Living and ISKON to speak on our behalf and spread false and malicious “Yezidis are Hindu” memes?  These people did little more than create an awkward and even inflaming situation with their scheme of cultural adulteration.  Both sides, Yezidi and Hindus did not trust this campaign since it was so eager to promote half-truths about both Yezidi and Hindu culture.  Many Hindus resented the fact that while their own people are being tortured and killed without any help or coverage, that all of a sudden they were supposed to help a supposedly far-flung sect they had never heard of, and there also seemed to be traces of a conspiracy to use the Yezidi religion as a wedge for Christ in India (see here). On the other hand, many Yezidi found these tactics to be a sordid campaign to convert them, predatory evangelists coming in, using the plight of the Yezidi to corrupt their religion.  This did nothing but breed resentment and suspicion on both sides.

However, worse than this is the fact that while Hindus and the government of India could have sent the Yezidi arms to fight for their own nation of Ezdistan, instead we sent charlatans sadus seeking to gobble up the Yezidi into their corrupted and effete cults of inaction.  While the semi-Islamic Kurds went in as soldiers with guns gleaming to free the Yezidi people, the Hindus asked the Yezidi to sit on the floor and focus on feminized visions of Krishna holding a lute or pushed some other measure of their version of castrated Hinduism.  Let me ask you this, who do you think the Yezidi will respect more, the waffy wishy-washy wussy so-called Hindus of Art of Living/ISKON, or the Kurdistan soldiers who liberated them with guns.  Hindus should have not allowed these scam artists to speak in our name.  The Yezidi should have been early identified as an ally against Islam in both Iraq and Kurdistan.  They should have been encouraged to fight to their own nation of Ezdistan, which is what they wanted anyway, and India should have provided them with the guns and ammunition to do it.  But now that hope is lost forever.

So what do the Hindus need to do now to rectify this situation, how can we right our wrongs and really help the Yezidi.  Now the Yezidi are in Kurdistan and are facing a brutal campaign of cultural assimilation.  Our Yezidi friends are reporting back to us that the Kurds are insuring that the Yezidi have no hope of their own homeland or identity.  If nothing is done then these people could very well eventually be assimilated into Islamized Kurdistan, and what would have been a resistance army will become yet another infantry for the forces of Islamization.  Our Yezidi friends are asking Hindus to act quickly to maintain the continuity of Ezdistan.  We must place pressure upon Kurdistan to make plans to eventually return the northwest Iraq region to the Yezidi and allow them their own nation of Ezdistan.  The Yezidi must be allowed to form their own infantries alongside the Peshmerga to fight ISIS, with the hope that they are fighting for their own homeland and not a future as Islamized Kurds.

Now that the Yezidi are free from imminent danger, it would seem that the “Hindu-Yezidi-Bhai-Bhai” feeling as begun to cool, but now the Yezidi need Hindus more than ever.  Hindus have a debt to pay, we put ourselves into this public affair in a half-assed and sloppy manner, allowing ourselves to be carried by forces who cared little for the future of either Hinduism or the Yezidi.  This has left Hindus looking like fools who cannot tell friend from foe.  But here we have a golden opportunity to regain our honor.  Soon the whole world will forget about the Yezidi as they disappear into the cavern of Kurdistan and their dreams of Ezdistan smashed upon the rocks.  But we as Hindus can remember them and keep them in our alliance.  We must keep Kurdistan on its toes and push them to truly liberate the Yezidi.  Here lies our redemption, not just for the Yezidi but also ourselves.

Hindus And India Must Learn From The Kurdistan Mistake!

kurdistan_flag_by_anbu_pyro-d5bmmzu2[1]

Agents of our outfit have been linking closely with Yezidi activists in the past months and many of our members have become part of Yezidi alliance groups both online and in real life.  Our original purpose was to break the entire “Yezidis are Hindus” myth for the sake of both Hindu and Yezidi civilization.  We wanted to build an alliance based on the reality that the Hindus and Yezidis are indeed two separate civilizations that can work together in harmony, especially in fighting against Islam.  While we were not surprised to find discontent and resentment against the encroachment of a false and commercialized form of pseudo-Hinduism (Art of Living/ISKON) into their faith, we were shocked by the degree of anger and outrage this had caused.  The reason the Yezidi are so vigilant about guarding their religion from assimilationist forces is because they have been waging this very same battle for generations, only it has been with Islamo-Secular Kurdistan and not Hindu India.

The issue with establishing Yezidi autonomy has many facets.  First, the Yezidi are a rather small religion (there are around 1 million globally) and so it is difficult for them to maintain their religious continuity, especially when they are being attacked from all sides by Islamic militants, Christian missionaries, and now pseudo-Hindu groups who are trying to create “rice Hindus” by predatoring on the desperate and starving Yezidi refugees of ISIS in the mountain passes of Northern Iraq. The Yezidi also tend to be a contained community with little to no interest in conversions or necessarily detailing their religion to non-Yezidis.  This has left them vulnerable to political forces which wish to subsume them.  While many groups have tried to incorporate the Yezidis including Muslims and Persians, the most aggressive assimilationist campaign against the Yezidi comes from non-Yezidi Kurdish elements.

Kurds are an ethno-linguistic group of people who live in the more or less mountainous regions stretching from eastern Turkey to northwest Iraq, cutting trough northern Syria and northern Iran.  While Kurds follow many different religions including Christianity, Zoroastrianism, Bahai, Yarsanism, Alevism and the Yezidi religion, the majority of Kurds (70% or more) are nominal Muslims.  The Kurdish people have always fought for independence as unique ethnic and cultural group from their Arabized neighbors, however starting in the 1600’s the Kurds were divided up among many different Muslim rulers and many of the Kurdish people eventually lost their native religions of Zoroastrianism, Mithraism and other native faiths and became Muslims.  Kurdish politics in the modern era have become extremely complicated since the majority Muslim Kurds have a schizophrenic alliance to both their ethnicity and Islam.

Modern Kurds try to be “secular” in that they wish to include the remaining non-Muslim Kurds into their aspirations for a united Kurdistan.  Even the Kurdish flag shows the sun symbol, an insignia used by both Yezidi and Zoroastrians in their region.  However, underneath this so-called ethnic comradery boils a deep and lasting discontent, especially for the Yezidi.  There are two major reason why the Yezidi do not wish to be subsumed by the Kurdistan nation.  First, even though Kurds try to tout their secularism, the Yezidi know from experience that when push comes to shove, the majority Muslims of the area choose Islamic ties or sympathize with Islamic causes.  The Muslim majority of Kurdistan favors Islamic apologism at the very least.  Also, these Kurdish Muslims are susceptible to “Pan-Islamism”, meaning they are quick to side with Muslims outside the Kurdish ethnic group, turning on the non-Muslims of Kurdsitan. The second reason why Yezidi don’t like the alliance is that they resent being classified as “Kurds”.  The Yezidi have kept separate from all other groups for centuries and not all of their origins are known.  Many Yezidi find it to be presumptuous of Kurds to assume that just because the Yezidi speak Kurdish dialects that this was their original tongue. Some Yezidi feel closer with Persian origins.

However, now India must take this backdrop and think about its own relationship with the Yezidi.  The Yezidi are extremely sensitive to cultural imperialism and attempts to assimilate them as mentioned above with Kurdistan. The Yezidi have been fighting a generational war against subtle advances on their culture, and so the current drive to brand the Yezidi as a far flung sect of Hinduism is striking a deep nerve within the Yezidi community.  Posts that try to equate the Yezidi and Hindus are often met with animosity by the Yezidi, who are usually fresh off debating similar posts by Kurdistani forces.  While many Hindus think they are creating an alliance with the Yezidi, they are actually driving a wedge between the two communities by touching a sensitive spot in the Yezidi psyche.

If Hindus want to create a lasting relationship with the Yezidi than we need to support them as an autonomous people with their own nation, religion, culture and perhaps even ethnicity.  India and Hindus must not become another Kurdistan for the Yezidi.  We must supply their refugees with food, housing and ammunition and provide their spiritual national heads voices in our governments, but we must end this cultural imperialism, especially since it is being lead by organizations which don’t even represent Hinduism in the first place and are doing nothing more than souring our relationship with Ezdistan (The Yezidi Nation).

The Yezidi, maybe followers of Sultan Yazid, but not an Islamic sect

Moulay-Yazid236-620x372

Cultural Chair of Yezidiska (Swedish Yezidi Organization) Mr. Amo Hassan has shown us the Persian origins of the Yezidi, it’s similarities and differences from both Mithraism and Zoroastrianism, but also the fact that the Yezidi religion is unique and not a sect of any other origin.  Now Mr. Hassan is ready to tackle the claim that the Yezidi are just a radical sect of Islam, one born of the fight between the (questionably Muslim) Sultan Yazdi and the descendants of the Prophet.  While the Yezidi did indeed align with Sultan Yazidi, and he holds a prominent role in their traditions, he was by no means the founder of the faith, nor the spawner of a heretical Islamic sect.  Modern claims that the Yezidi are an Islamic sect are often brewed by Muslims themselves who want to culturally absorb the Yezidi or who know how to use sect politics to destroy their enemies.

Firstly, this paper clarifies the alleged connection of the Yezidi religion as an emergence from the cult of personality of the Islamic Umayyad Caliph named Yezid Ibn Mu’awiya. On the other hand, I want to show the world through my writing that by no means is the Yezidi religion an Islamic sect, as is frequently proposed by Islamic historians, Arabs, Turks and Persians alike – many of whom were paid by the regimes of their home country to write histories which would absorb the Yezidi into Islam or cause sectarian violence, but always keeping the origins of the Yezidi religion classified. The assertion of these Islamic circles, that the Yezidis are the descendants of the Umayyad Caliph Yezid Ibn Mu’awiya, is without foundation. The Yezidis have neither a prophet nor a savior. Their religion is a pure angel religion. They worship an angel, the one they call Ta’usi Melek. This angel is at the center of their faith. Not even the legendary reformer of the Yezidi religion, Sheikh Adi (1060 n. Chr.), is regarded as a prophet or savior, although his reforms are closely adhered to and closely guarded today by an untouchable pyramidic system. He is venerated only as a guide who saved the Yezidi religion when it was then threatened with extinction.

Yezid Ibn Mu’awiya

Who was this Yezid Ibn Mu’awiya? What really connects us to him? He is erroneously regarded by many as the founder of Yezidentums. Is there a kinship?  Yezid Ibn Mu’awiya’s family tree shows that Yezid Ibn Mu’awiya was the son of Mu’awiya Ibn Abi Sufyan and his wife Meyssoun Bahdal Bint El-Kalbi. His father, Mu’awiya Ibn Abi Sufyan ibn Harb ibn Umayya Ibn Sakhir Abed Schemis Ibn Abed Menaf appears immediately after the conquest of Mecca by the Muslim armies who then became subject to the Prophet, to Islam. The Prophet transmitted to Mu’awiya Ibn Abi Sufyan and his family members numerous public offices and even marries his sister Ramla bint Abi Sufyan (رملة بنت أبي سفيان) also known as Umm Habiba.

During the era of Abu Bakirs, the first successor of the Prophet, there are the so-called El-Ridda Wars, a time when the soldiers of Islam became entangled in many bloody battles to prevent apostate Arabs from leaving the new religion of Islam. When Omar Ibn Khattab was crowned successor, he transferred Mu’awiya control of Bilad El-Sham (Greater Syria) in 637 AD. The Umayyad Dynasty differed in many ways from other Islamic dynasties: during the Umayyad rule, the Arab-Islamic state took a unique and progressive form for a period of time, in all areas of life. One can speak of this as the golden age of Arabism. This success was facilitated by the tolerance and acceptance of the Umayyad family of non-Islamic peoples, ethnic and religious minorities.

Damascus stood before the Islamic conquest under Byzantine rule. The new ruler, Mu’awiya benefited from the experience of the Byzantine state officials. Numerous Arab and non-Arab Orientalist confirm the peaceful coexistence of all peoples and religions in the Umayyad state. The people of Damascus were accustomed to the peaceful coexistence of Christians and non-Christians. When Arab invaders conquered the country under the Islamic flag, they continued with their once-existing conditions but now under Islamic rule. Dr. Muhammad Abed El-Jabiri makes in the second edition of his book El-Aqil El-Siyassi El-Arabi, published in Beirut in 1992, on page 237 the following comments: “When filling important positions in the Islamic Umayyad state the rulers preferred members of other faiths and non-Arab minorities against Arab officials. In their opinion, these people were more reliable and trustworthy than the Arab officials. “

Gradually there developed a rivalry between the Umayyad family in Damascus and the Ahil-El-Beyt-members, the so-called relatives of the Prophet of Islam, which was then presented in the person of Ali Ibn Abi Talib and his sons Hassan and Hussein.  The Ahil-El-Beyt had a negative impact on the spread of Islam in the north and east of Arabia and weakened the power of the Arabs in the region. This rivalry erupted with the murder of a successor of the Prophet, namely the violent and insidious death of Caliph Othman Ibn Affan, who was standing near the Umayyad family. Although the Ahil-El-Beyt had nothing to do with the death of Caliph, his murder was used on both sides as an excuse to seize power through legitimate succession itself. Thus arose the Umayyad family with their center of power in Damascus / Syria with their claim to the succession and thus the power in the Islamic world. The claim was not confirmed by the relatives of the Prophet, and so during these unclear times the question arose: “Who is the legitimate successor of the Prophet Muhammad?”

The first prominent victim of this leadership campaign was the last successor of the prophet, Ali Ibn Abi Talib, son and cousin of the Prophet in person. Each of the now hostile families began to fight to the death and to use all available means to overthrow their enemies and to consolidate their own power. To achieve this goal, they sought allies. These were mostly the neighboring peoples, often ethnic or religious minorities. These allies were either those people who were forcibly Islamized and thus only hated Islam, or were even desperately fighting to free themselves from these enforced conversions. Among the ethnic-religious minorities who lived under the rule of the Ali family and later under the Abbasid Dynasty, there was great dissatisfaction. They were set to charge or make reprisals under this pressure. Therefore, many of these people ran into the arms of the Umayyad family because they were treated better there.

In the same book by Arabic historian Dr. Muhammad Abed El-Jabiri on page 316, he explains that the Umayyad’s power was actually created by the harshness of other Arab regimes.  The Umayyads encouraged other non-Muslim religious and ethnic groups to migrate into their nation to escape the harshness of political Islam under the Prophet’s relatives, Ali and his son Hussein and Hassan.  There were also many “fake Muslims” who entered the Umayyad Empire, these were people that were forced to convert to Islam or who were made to pay the Jizya tax even though they had converted. The Umayyads established these extraordinary measures of tolerance so that Islam could not win the hearts of these people and therefore the commitment of the Umayyads to Islam has always been questioned. Indeed they have always been viewed as only Muslims in a superficial and external sense, that is not deeply rooted. In other words, they were never Muslims.

After the assassination of Caliph Ali Ibn’s last successor Abi Talib, his son Hussein took up the fight against the Umayyad and their successor, Sultan Yezid. Muslims in Iraq saw Hussein as the legitimate successor of the Prophet. He was the son of the last Caliph and the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. The people in Iraq encouraged him to take up the power and dominion over all Muslims in the region. However, numerous Islamic Arab historians and experts on Islam relay that the Muslims of Iraq were not very reliable, often changing sides, which demoralized the campaign against the Umayyad Empire.

However, things changed with the transfer of power from Mu’awiya to his son Yezid, for many reason this brought nothing but hatred from the many Muslims, who sparked outrage and discontent in the Arab world. Many favored the election of a successor of Mu’awiya by the Islamic Council (Board) because this method was also common in the Islamic hierarchy. Besides this, Mu’awiya’s son Yezid was charged with the enjoyment of alcoholic beverages, music and women. It was even said that Yezid invented an instrument called the Tembûr (a kind of lute). The lute is still referred to by some Yazidi today as “Saza Siltan Êzîd” and the enjoyment of liquor “Kasa Êzîd” – in German: the fine wines of Yezids. Yezid granted not only the followers of the religions of the book a lot of freedom, but also the followers of the ancient Yazidi religion. However, many felt it was much more important to keep the values of Islam and the perception of the Caliph dignity.

A general disdain for Sultan Yezid in the Islamic world forced a rapid change on Iraq. Fanatical fundamentalism sprouted and all those who dared to oppose Islam were killed mercilessly. Sultan Yezid knew, as no other, to mobilize the minority population living in abject poverty against his opponents. He went on to hold back conservative Islam and showed more tolerance towards minorities in his empire. He granted all living under the rule of the Umayyad dynasty full and complete religious freedom. This condition led to an unusual harmony between an Islamic regime in Damascus and the Yezidi people- who thus suddenly became allies of the Umayyad family against the relatives of the Prophet. Each side tried to find their own way, allies and supporters. However, Sultan Yezid was extremely unpopular in the Islamic world and he received no well wished from the Arab Muslims of Iraq. Many saw him as nothing but an apostate or heretic.

Whether it was his tolerance to the Yezidi people or other factors that played a decisive role in how well he was received by the Yezidi Kurds, no one knows for certain. It is at least claimed by some that his mother Meyssoun was of Kurdish origin. Maybe he even mastered the yezidish language. How else are there so many songs of praise to tell about him and his supernatural abilities? The Yezidis believe that Sultan Yezid ibn Mu’awiya was animated by the spirit of Ta’usi Melek, so he saved them from forcible conversion to Islam. The Yezidis regard prince Yezid as the savior of their Yezidi religion. This is supported by much evidence. Added to psalms of the Yezidis are his supernatural abilities. In the oral tradition of the Yezidi there is a song sung in yezidish called “Qadi Thero”; it is nothing more than the description of the supernatural powers and abilities Sultan Yezid. The song describes the showdown – divine skills course – and the battle of words between Sultan Yezid and the then Chief Justice of Religion in Damascus. The word Qadi or Qazi means about judges (qadi) and Shero comes from the Arab meaning Islamic law.

And so the Islamic world of the day was divided into two camps. Prior to the arrival of the Umayyad Dynasty and Sultan Yezid, the religious minorities were not spared. To survive, they to took sides, and it was, of course, in the arms of the more tolerant Sultan Yezid. The Yezidi religious reformer Sheikh Adi (1060 n. Chr.) Also commented positively about Yezid Ibn Mu’awiya and described him as the most tolerant Muslim leaders after the era of the Prophet. The support on the part of the Islamic leaders and scholars of his empire towards ethnic and religious minorities was numerous in history. The Sufist Hussein El-Hallajj defended the Yezidi theory of Ta’usi Melek, even though Ta’usi Melek was only known to the Yezidi and he has no place in Islamic doctrine. It should be noted here that this Sufi was a Muslim scholar of Islam and due to his open mind and compassionate behavior, he was executed by an Islamic court.

Manufacturing modern conflicts

However, all good things must come to an end. The tolerant Umayyad Calph eventually declined with the death of the last Umayyad Caliph, Marwan Muhammad Marwan, in 750 AD. Upon his death the Umayyad Caliph collapsed and was replaced by the Abbasid Caliphate. After the breakup of the Umayyad hierarchy, the incursion of political Islam into Yezidi life also increased in harshness and intensity. This situation lasted until Islamic Sheikh Abdulkadir Geylani (a contemporary of the Yezidi Sheikh Adi’s) started his Islamic School (El-Medressa) in Iraq and forbade the persecution of the Yezidis. He expressed the hope that the Yezidis would come to Islam without force and bloodshed. Through this school there was for a long time peace and tranquility. This fact is recorded in the Psalm “Qewlê Þîxadî”. The friendship between the Islamic Sheikh Abdulkadir Geylani and Yezidi Sheikh Adi is historically proven.

It is unfortunate that certain circles in Turkey and the Arab world are trying to drive a wedge between the members of different religions and denominations in order to control them better. As an example I will mention the claim that the Yezidis are responsible for the death of the sons of Ali, Hassan and Hussein. It should be clarified, the then governor of Damascus, Mu’awiya Ibn Abi Sufiyan (634 AD) started wars with the fourth and last successor of the Prophet, Ali Ibn Abi Talib, so as to to be able to come to power. In the year 660 AD, the Caliph Ali (Kerrema Allahu Wejjhahu) was murdered in a house of worship by a Khewarijj – a so-called outsiders – named Abdul Rahman Ibn Meljjem. According to him, his eldest son Hassan should have accepted the Caliph, but Hassan abdicated the throne in favor of Mu’awiya of the Umayyad Dynasty. His younger brother Hussein however called for resistance against appointment of Mu’awiya as the new Caliph of Islam. He tried to mobilize Muslims to force Mu’awiya to his the knee.

In the year 681 n. Chr, Hussein and his entire family were murdered brutally. Hussein was beheaded and his head was brought to Damascus as a gift to Sultan Yezid (Mu’awiya). This massacre of Hussein and his family led indirectly to the collapse of the Umayyad Dynasty because it riled resentment against the Calphate on the part of the Arab Muslim population of the kingdom. This black day, the day of the murder of the family of the Prophet, has become a day of remembrance. In Karbala, in present-day Iraq, where the family was murdered, the Shi’ites go ostentatiously on the street and express their grief. The day is called Ashura. This politically motivated killing and many other atrocities were later blamed on the Yezidis (since they did align with Sultan Yazid). This is a falsification of history though, one which meant that the Yezidis would be persecuted and despised for centuries. This must finally come to an end. This is the purpose of an honest approach to the historical truth.

Concluding Remarks

In the final part of this article I would like to make it clear that the Yezidis may be the followers of the Caliph ummajjadischen Yezids, and it could be the source of their name, by no means are their left a few questions.  And it certainly stands to say that the Yezidi are in no way a Muslim sect!

How can they be Muslims, when they perform very different prayers? How can they be Muslims if they have other fast days? How can they be followers of an Islamic sect, when they glorify the sun as a visible sign of God in heaven and before Islam even as a deity? How can they be Muslims if they, their holy pilgrimage, is to Lalish? How can they be Muslims if they never take an outsider or someone of another religion in their faith community? How can they be Muslims, if they believe in the existence of an angel named Ta’usi Melek? How can they be Muslims, if they do not even believe in the existence of hell and an evil power? I believe that there is no plausible answers from the Muslims. And, if the Yezidis were already members of an Islamic creed, why they were fought by all means, to force them to Islam? Why were they managed as so, as non-Muslims?. Tyranny in the strongest terms, their women forced into marriage with Muslims?

And as for saying this religion emerged in Baghdad from the rivalry between the Ummajjaden in Damascus and the Abbasids, then why didn’t the Ummayad glorify the four elements of life, fire, air, water and earth? How could the Ummayad be followers of the Yezidi religion when they bury their dead? Today and historically, the Yezidis have regard themselves as members of an ancient, deep-rooted and pre-Islamic religion, their customs and traditions differ significantly from Islam. I hope that I have given you some thought-provoking information and questions, ones that the world and especially the Islamic world should be asking. The Yezidism begins to be accepted as an independent non-Islamic religion. However, it is also time among the Yezidis, especially the geschichtsunkundigen to dispel fundamental errors in order to keep a true and fair and clear identity in a multikuturellen world….

The Yezidi and Mithraism

esquiline_jp40

Mr. Amo Hassan, Cultural Chair of Yezidiska, continues to educate us about the Yezidi religion and its past.  In a previous article, Mr. Hassan described that while the Yezidi religion was obviously influenced by Zoroastrianism, it is certainly not a sect of the religion as some have claimed (see here). However, Mr. Hassan is a little more hard pressed to completely separate the Yezidi religion from ancient Mithraism.  While similarities between Zoroastrianism and the Yezidi can be ascribed to cultural imperialism, links with Mithraism seem to be more organic and genuine.

It is known that Mithraism was seen as dualistic religion to Zarathustra, with a good and a bad side. Mithra’s evil side that was warlike and male and was rejected by Zarathustra. But as sky-god Mithra was praised and accepted. Nevertheless, Zoroaster did not recognize Mithraism as a deity and separate religion. The Zoroastrians wanted the Kurds to incorporate Mithra into the new religion of Zoroastrianism. But due to their firmly rooted faith in Mithra and his place in Kurdish customs and traditions, the Kurdish priests often resisted these advanced, but were later sometimes forced to admit Mithra’s worship was part of the larger Zoroastrian context.

In Yasna 32, Zarathustra speaks against the traditional “Daevas” of the older religions as a seducer of the people. Zarathustra’s description of the Daevas and their role is similar to Adam’s story in the Bible and the Koran, as Adam was seduced by the serpent (evil) to eat the forbidden fruit of God. However, unlike Christians, Jews and Muslims, the Yezidis say that this deception was planned by God and his representative Ta’usi Melek did nothing but fulfill God’s plan. Mithra played the same role as Ta’usi Melek, as he distributed the meat from the calf (bull or ox) to his followers, to make them immortal. This Mithraic tradition of Kalbschlachtens (bull sacrifice) was taken over by the Yezidis and is practiced until now with them on the Autumn Festival “Gemaiy” in Lalish. However, the sacrifice of ox or calf was an ancient religious custom of the local Aryans and the sunbathers, so it should not be automatically assumed the tradition comes from Mithraism. However, under Sheikh Adi’s influence its meaning changed. After the reformation, the sacrificial character took on similarity with the meaning of the feasts and the sacrificial characters of Christians.

The fire is another element of the Yezidi religion. In Lalish it is ignited every Wednesday everywhere. The Yezidis believe that God created on a Wednesday Ta’usi Melek, and so Wednesday is a holy day. The fire is lit in every religious family house (Sheikh or Pir) on Wednesday. The sacred fire ritual is older than Ahura Mazda-fire and it is agreed that the fire ritual came to Iran and Kurdistan before Zarathustra. Before advent of Zoroastrianism, the fire ritual represented the third eye of the god Mithra’s light or sun as opposed to darkness.

The doctrine of good and evil in the Yazidis is very different from the doctrine of Zarathustra. Ahura-Mazda and Ahriman are two opposites who represent their duality very much like the Chinese yin and yang or the Indians with Tlaloc and Quetzalcoatl. All of them have to do with a principle, namely, that the world consists of two powerful opposing elements which are deep rooted in the nature of the world. While Mithraism might not be as dualistic as Zoroastrianism, there is certainly a clear separation between good and evil. Contrary to this belief, the Yezidis believe that both good and evil forces come from God and man must use his wits to make the right choices.  Here we find a major difference between Mithraism and the Yezidi religion which may or may not be explained by the reformations of Sheik Adi.

The more research on the Yezidi religion one hires, the more questions and mysteries come to light. Long it will take before you will have discovered the secrets of this religion. But each new investigation of the Yezidi religion before Sheikh Adi has not confirmed the fact that the Yezidi religion is a religion of the ancient Indo-Europeans, even though it does have similarities with both Mithraism and Zoroastrianism. At the same time, these studies refute the claim by some people that the Yezidis are of Yezid Ibin-Maawiya, the descendants of an Islamic Caliph and thus nothing more than an Islamic sect. This assertion comes only from certain political interests.

My attempt is to connect the threads between the historic side of the Yazidi religion and other pre-Islamic religions, but at the same time show the Yezidi as a distinct people. The issue remains open for further questions and answers. Each new attempt broadens our horizons.
